René Herbst Ceiling Lamp, 1950s
René Herbst Ceiling Lamp, 1950s
A rare example of sculptural Mid-Century Modernist Bauhaus pendant light consists of three circular polished aluminium geometric discs configured in a stacked over-lapping fashion with a central hole on all discs where the lamp holder is.
All three discs are connected with screw pins. The discs have specific fixing characteristic of René Herbst designs. Suspended by a wire which you could either shorten or lengthen to fit your needs.
Currently they are lit with classic lightbulbs but they would look much better with a silver crown lightbulbs. Price is for one.
It would definitely spark any interior either in the bedroom, living room or hallway or on top of dining table.
