Items for sale displayed on this Site are available only whilst they are in stock and at our discretion.

Every effort is made to ensure that all product images reflect the items for sale's colours as realistic & accurately as possible. However, due to differences in monitors, we are unable to guarantee that the colour you will see on your monitor will accurately reflect the true colour of the item for sale.


Many of the items for sale on our website are not new, and although we strive to ensure all products are in good condition, they may show signs of wear proportional with age.

Many of our products for sale have been restored to, or in some cases preserved in, a good saleable condition. However, due the nature of antiques & vintage items all products are subject to signs of use and age related wear.

We offer additional photos and condition reports by request for every item listed on our website, all of which are available via e-mail or telephone.

Every care is made to ensure that our descriptions and measurements are as accurate as possible, however some variations may occur.


Furniture and Furnishings:

Reupholstered items will always comply with current fire safety regulations. Unless otherwise stated, items available for purchase on this website do not comply with the latest Furniture and Furnishings (Fire ) (Safety) Regulations 1988, and should be seen as works of art and not officially used in a private dwelling. The regulations do not apply to furniture that pre-dates 1950.


Electrical Appliances:

All lights and electrics are rewired by a qualified electrician to meet current regulation, if necessary, before being sold. UK plugs are different from the rest of the world. All electrical items with plugs ordered with destination outside the UK will be sent without plug. It will be your responsibility to employ a qualified electrician for this job. We recommend that any electrical items that are to be permanently connected to a mains supply (e.g. wall lights or pendant lights) should be installed by a qualified electrician.


Brass or Nickel Products:

Brass and nickel products might age and create naturally a patina coat.

Pure brass will naturally mellow and darken with age. Small 'casting marks' may be visible due to the authentic manufacturing process.

Cleaning your brass or nickel product

Dust your product with a soft dry cloth. Use only certified brass and nickel cleaning products if needed. Usually our products are polished before we photographed them but some of our products might not be polished before we photograph them, therefore we might ask you if you wish us to polish the item before posting. Polished photographed products will naturally mellow and is up to you to instruct us if you wish us to polish it before posting the item. We will always provide a small bottle with a certified cleaning product. Do not use chemicals such as hairspray or cosmetics near the product as they may damage the brass or nickel finish.

Moving your lamp:

Never lift a lamp by its shade.  Instead, use one hand to support the base and the other to support the shade. Ensure that the cable is not tangled up before plugging in.

If you want to send the order to the shopping cart, go to the preview page of the selected item and click the “Add to cart” button. When the article is in the shopping cart, you will see the information that the goods are added clicking the "Basket" button in the top toolbar. By clicking the "Basket" button in the top toolbar, you may review all the chosen goods and, if necessary, edit the purchase.

When you want to finalize the order, press the goods basket and follow the instructions of the ordering process. You will find information on different shipment and

Prices of our products are based on the rarity, designer/manufacturer, era, material and the open market value.



We can provide a comprehensive delivery service to destinations nationwide and worldwide shipping with specialist furniture couriers, we are happy to discuss shipping requirements prior to purchase.

Once you have purchased your item we will send you a confirmation email within 24 hours, this will include delivery options. 

You will be advised of an approximate delivery date at the point of order and this will vary depending on whether the item is in stock, to be ordered and if any special finishes or upholstery are required. UK Furniture deliveries take time to arrange and coordinate, so place your order at least 7 -10 days ahead of your expected delivery date.

We are happy to go through delivery dates and options with you on the phone or by email, and to discuss any specific requirements such as: Are there any access issues? For example, road width, overhanging trees, cul-de-sacs (turning circle), driveways, tunnels, archways, gates, hedges (covering walls), security gates (codes) and parking restrictions.

Are there any restrictions inside your house? For example staircases, banisters, furniture in corridors, pictures or paintings on the walls. 

Is there space in the room for your new furniture?

Will you be there to supervise delivery? If not, is someone else clear about exactly where the furniture should be located?

Delivery costs for furniture vary from the purchased size of the item.

Delivery costs within M25 varies according to size from £40-£70.

Items are available for pick up from our studio (see our contact page) or our warehouse. Contact us to arrange a time.

Smaller items can be delivered within 48hrs with a selection of couriers.

All deliveries are insured against theft and accidental damage.

The price of delivery/postage is not included in the purchase price, but needs to be added at the checkout page where possible or paid for separately. Remember to send us your full address including post/zip code to receive an exact quote.




Payments can be made in EUR, USD or GBP.

All of our prices are in GBP pounds Sterling. International buyers please try for a current exchange rate. Prices do not include delivery unless otherwise specified. Please email us prior to purchasing for a delivery / shipping price.

The order amount will be deposited on your card as a reservation payment until your order has either been sent (then the amount will be booked) or cancelled (then the amount will be released).


Payment by Visa or Mastercard

The system checks, whether the credit card participates in the 3-D security programs "Verified by Visa" or "Mastercard SecureCode"

These are security systems that have been developed for the aforementioned cards to safeguard that the lawful holder of a credit card and the lawful online trader participate in the respective transaction. If a credit card holder has registered to the 3-D-Secure system by using one of the offered registration methods, an additional window will open up after the credit data have been entered. This window is linked with your bank and requires the entry of the SecureCode (a password you selected). Transactions can only be made by entering the correct password. 


Payment by American Express

The system checks, whether the shipping address is identical to the address that has been provided to American Express as billing address (Amex address verification system, abbrev. "AVS").

In case the address is not identical, you will be asked in a separate email to provide the different shipping address to American Express. Your shipment will not be delivered until the successful authentication.


The following shall apply for all payments by credit card

Refunds from returns will always be charged-back to the credit card, which the original order was paid from.


Payment by wire transfer

In our checkout – step "payment" – please select "wire transfer" and finalize your order.

You will then receive a confirmation that will be sent automatically by email stating our banking details as well as the order number.

Upon submitting your order, please transfer the overall amount to the following account and state the order number:

Possible transfer costs as well as bank charges shall be borne by the customer.

Your order will be dispatched upon receipt of payment on our account.

Refunds from returns will be charged-back to the bank account which the original order was paid from.


Payment by PAYPAL

You can pay us by Paypal, quick and easy.

Our shop is Paypal certificated, that ensures for you the greatest possible security. In addition Paypal protects you from data abuse. If there is any disagreement, a neutral and professional advisor is available for you through Paypal.

If you already have an existing account you will be redirected to the Login page of Paypal. If you want, we can take your shipping address over from Paypal. If you don't have an account, simply open an account and enjoy the Paypal Services.

The entire ordering process will be ciphered with a safety certificate via SSL. As a result it is guaranteed that your sensitive personal data cannot be picked up by a third party If you would like to buy an item on the website, you can do so by following the instructions on your ‘basket’ page. Here you will be able to pay by Paypal, either as an existing Paypal customer or guest.



All of our prices are inclusive of VAT. 

EU countries: price all inclusive / without additional costs.

Overseas orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are charged upon arrival to destination address. VAT, customs duties for the recipient country must be paid separately upon receipt of the goods according to the invoice of the transport company (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.).These charges are to be paid by the purchaser.



Right of Cancellation

You may retract your consent to the agreement without giving reasons within 7 days in written form (for example by letter, fax or e-mail) or, if the good or goods has been ceded to you within this timespan, by returning the good or goods. The timespan within which the agreement may thus be cancelled begins upon receipt of this notification in written form.

To meet the term of recall, the recall or item should be duly sent to the same GROUND ONE SIX address it was shipped from. 

(2) Return of Goods

If you simply change your mind or decide that the item is not to your expectations, we are happy to offer our customers a refund or exchange on all items. As part of our returns policy we must be informed, in written form (for example by letter, fax or e-mail), within 48 hours from the date of delivery. Returned goods must be delivered to us within 7-14 days (unless otherwise agreed) and must be received in the same condition as originally sold. All the original shipment wrap and packaging must be kept in order to process a successful compensation claim.

Return postal, shipping or courier charges are incurred at the customers own expense. All initial shipping costs, including packing and insurance are non-refundable.

Items damaged in transit must be documented (i.e photographed) on delivery and e-mailed to within 48 hours. Please enquire for further details.

We want you to acknowledge that by return of the products, we retain twenty percent of the products’ value, as we bear the storage and resale expenses. Customized products and items bought in person in our studio unless the goods in question are proven faulty/unfit for purpose cannot be subject to return.

All items for a price over two thousand British Pound Sterling are considered “special order”. We only make refunds for the returned special order products if your products have been resold (we put these products in the “All Products” category, for reduced or original prices).

If you have any problems with any services, we will address them within one year from the date of service.

Our products are delivered with full insurance coverage. The customer agrees to take all liability for loss or damage during transportation, if there is a 'Signature Release' of any kind on file for the delivery address (i.e. Customer can send a paper by fax or e-mail stating that the goods that will be delivered by the carrier company can be left at the customer front door or by the post box. In such case, neither the online shop or the transport company have a responsibility for the goods loss or damage after it has been delivered to the front door or to any place specified by the customer). Packages shipped outside EU may not be eligible for insurance coverage. All claims for damages during shipment must be initiated within 48 hours of the goods collection.

After we have received your return, we will inform you of your credit amount by e-mail. The payment compensation depends on the respective credit card type. If the recipient stated in the order confirmation is not the purchaser, the debited amount will always be refunded to the purchaser, the card or account holder. The refunding is made in the currency of the purchase. Possible loss due to exchange rate fluctuations will not be refunded.

Most of our products are available to hire. The standard hiring charge is 20% of the total price of the item, for 5 days. Transportation fees are at your cost. There is a minimum charge of £100 for items below £500. We require payment for the total price of the item upfront as a deposit, which is refunded, minus the hiring fees, once the item is returned to us.

The item needs to be returned in the same condition as it was hired out. If it is returned damaged, we have the right to charge you for the item to be restored, cleaned or replace anything broken. We require all the hired items to be insured for the period you hire them in order to avoid any complications. A copy of the insurance policy will needed.  

The hiring contact is an entirely different contract from the purchasing process. No hiring contract can replace a purchase.
